At this Day Nursery School in Gloucestershire, we started with a wide ranging brief to create 2 separate play areas for the different age groups (3 months – 3 years and 3 years to 5 years) – with only limited space available. Our focus was on key learning goals for these ages – e.g. social, physical and creative development, language, literacy, mathematical skills and an understanding of the world around them.
By using a variety of materials and imaginative design ideas (including tiles printed with the children’s’ own artwork), we have created a fun and versatile environment for both the children and staff to enjoy. Each feature has been tailor-made to the specific requirements of the school.
